Tummy Reduction: What are the Yoga Postures for Tummy Reduction?

Postures for tummy reduction
Yoga has several asanas which help to reduce tummy fat. The following are some postures that can help reduce your tummy.
Pavan Muktasana (Release of air):
Lie down on your back. Lift your left leg to 45 degree. Fold the knee and bring it close to chest. Lock knee with both of the hands. Bring it as close to the chest as possible. Lift your head and try to touch your bent knee. Hold it there for 10 counts. Keep the right leg straight. Maintain balanced breathing. Slowly come back to the starting position. Repeat with the right leg. After this, try using both the legs.
Bhujangasana (Cobra pose):
This is the counter-pose of Pavan Muktasana. Lie on your stomach. Keep both of yourpalms close to the chest. Slowly bend your head, chest and navel backward. Stretch your hands just a bit, not completely. Hold it for 10 counts. Come back to the original position. This will help you in tummy reduction.
Note: Pavan Muktasana must be followed by Bhujangasana.
Dhanurasana (Bow posture):
Lie on your stomach. Bend your knees and catch your ankle. Bend your head backward as much as possible. Hold it for 10 counts before returning to the starting position.
Kapalbharati (Breathing exercise):
In this breathing exercise, pressure is applied on the stomach to breathe out the air in the stomach forcefully. This helps in tummy reduction and toning the abdomen.
