Usually this bacterial do not result in any complication but as it is a sexually transmitted disease so there are chances for an increased risk of other diseases. These diseases includes infertility in female, premature birth, pelvic inflammatory disease, tubal ectopic pregnancy, low birth weight in infants.

Presence of this condition increases the chances of HIV also in infected women and this can be easily transferred to the uninfected male partner during the sexual inter coarse.Apart from this some sexually transmitted conditions like chlamydia, herpes simplex, gonorrhea can easily infect this body.

Treatment Of Gardenerella Vaginitis:

Usually this condition gets treated without any treatment. But in case, the infection reoccurs or spreads to your sexual partner then treatment becomes necessary.The treatment of this condition includes the few antibiotics and application of creams. It may happen that face some side effects like burning, stinging and itching after using this treatment
