Challenges Female Executives Face At Workplace

Today also women are considered capable only for domestic purposes like – cleaning, washing, cooking, serving family and raising children. With the growing industry, opportunities to work are also growing. Women are using these opportunities to fulfil their own dreams and reinvent themselves. But they have to face a lot of unavoidable and irresistible constraints at workplace.

She is a Woman, Not a Common Man !
Distinctions are always made between male candidates and female appointees at workplace. The first thing one notices about a woman employee is that ’she is a woman’. They do not even bother about her designation and skills.

Her competency is Challenged.
In general, people do not respect the abilities and talents in women. It takes a long time for them to succeed and get promoted. In case, they are promoted, they are always challenged to have received promotion on basis of favoritism or abusive means.

Nobody bothers ‘who she is’ !
People make their own assumptions by seeing. Nobody makes a single effort to understand who she really is as a person. People draw conclusions about her attitude, reputation and character the way they like.

Gender Biasing.
Women are always paid low in comparison to male colleagues, in spite of possessing same skills and education. They always need to prove themselves not only to higher authorities but also at home and society. They are rarely recognized on successful completion of jobs. They are made to feel useless sometimes. In every 11 seconds, 1 women leaves her job in the US. Women are considered to work less than men.

How Men Find Working-Women.

Men at workplaces like flirtatious and bubbly kind of women. They want women who are open at building relationships and getting friendly with all. So women today need to play dual role of reserved character at home and flexible at workplace.

Women Are Less Trustful.
In terms of work, women are trust less than men. They are not thought to be realistic. They are given easier jobs to work and at few times, clients even deny working with women executives.

Sexual Abuse.
Sexual misconduct is very common in female executives. Many women are compelled by the authorities to have unwanted sexual activity.
