Single motherhood is considered to become mother by choice. Generally 80-905 percent of the single parents are women. These are those women who take care of their children after the death of their husband or they are divorced. It is not easy to bring up children alone. There are many problems which these ladies undertake each day to give a better life to their young ones.
Problems Of Single Motherhood:
Some of the major problems which these ladies face each day are:
- Feeling Of Insecurity: Although most of the single mothers are independent still a sense of insecurity is that which prevents them interacting much with different people. Although these mothers are financially sound but they have that insecurity of not being cheated or misused by others for their personal cause.
- Have To Work Hard: As a single mother you will have to work very hard, taking of your house and child and also managing systematically at your home. it is only because you are only the sole earner so you will have to maintain a balance between the two.
- Face Loneliness: One of the greatest problems which single mother face is the feeling of loneliness. You have no one to share your thought. You cannot tell your problem to anyone. You have to deal all the problems yourself and look happy also for the sake of your child. Therefore single mothers face this as the biggest hurdle.
- Responsibility To Nurture Child Alone: This is a Herculean task. Being alone and the responsibility of a small child is sometimes scary. Child is a big responsibly and moreover child requires both mother and father so only mother at this stage can be challenging.
