Menopause and hair loss in women go hand in hand. Loss of hairs at certain age can be a reason for menopause. There are many reasons for the hair loss but one common reason can be the changes in the hormones which are caused due to menopause.

Menopause Hair Loss:

Menopause is the condition when the women stop having her regular menstrual cycles. This is a period of transition for women. A number of hormonal changes take in her body. Changes in body’s metabolism take place. Many other physical and emotional changes take place. Hair loss is also one of them to be handled.

Hair loss can e due to many reasons like menopausal related hormonal imbalances, postpartum/ stress – related shedding, chemotherapy or spotty hair loss pattern called Alopecia Areata.

But as we know that with the onset of menopause the levels of estrogen fall down noticeably; it brings about major changes and hair loss can be one of them.
