Growing age cannot limit your option for styling your hairs. Even the ladies who are above the age of 40 can also have long and healthy hairs. The only problem in keeping long hairs is that as the women grew older their hair starts growing in different ways and becomes dry and less manageable.
Older Women Hair Styles:
If a mature woman has a round face, she can have layering at the top of her head; this will give height to the head. If your face is narrow you can have layering along the middle length, this will create a wider silhouette.
If you want to keep them straight and long without much style; then think again as this can make you look much older.
Bob cuts are greatly popular as they are versatile in many lengths and potions of layering too. These cuts will enhance your features and are also easy to maintain.
Here are few tips which can be followed to keep you hair bright and nourishing:
- Take good care of your hair. As you age your hairs become brittle. In order to open the locks treat your hairs with hot oil treatment once a week. Also get them trimmed properly once in 6 weeks.
- Go for coloring. If you are blonde, go for highlights. If you have dark hairs, go for caramel highlights or go a very lighter shade all over.
- Try layers. Piercy layers around your face are flattering. Or you can also go for one length with under layers.
- A properly styled hair gives a dated look to your face. So you can go for short hairs but do not go for too spiky look. Longer layers will be more preferable.
Older Women Short Hair Styles:
Short Hairs styles that will suit to women in various age groups are mentioned below:
- If You Are In Your 30s: At this age you can go for long, sexy waves. A medium length cut can also be done as you can either fold them in pony tail or leave them open with rollers on them.
- If You Are In Your 40s: At this age you can go for short sleek look. This means neither too short nor too long.
- If You Are In Your 50s: Shoulder length hair cut is a great option for you. Even medium cut is very versatile. You can go for layers or waves anything you like. But make sure you can carry and maintain them easily.
- If You Are 60 & Above: Short hairstyles whether you go for spikes or bob cut. Long hairs must not be longer than shoulder length as they will be difficult to manage.
