Boomer women are those who were born after Second World War. These children have different characteristics than those of other centuries. This is because they were brought up in prosperous atmosphere. The country was growing and was full of lavishness. The children born in this era are the leaders of today. Women have become mothers, and are trying to give their children the same amenities which they endorsed at their times.

Baby Boomer Women Characteristics:
Baby boomers are persons who were born after the Second World War. These were the babies who are born in between 1946 – 1964, the prospering time of country after world war.

Baby boomers have characteristics which are different from children in other generations.
This may be because of the fact that they were brought up in an American Military dominated world. They lead a life which offered wonderful gadgets and home appliances. Every one was employed in that era. On the whole, there was prosperity all around. Every family was happy and prosperous.

The political and academic and cultural leadership are entirely dominated by baby boomers. Their characteristics can be summarized in the following points:

Baby Boomer Statistics:
The term baby boomer is used for those who are born after the world war second. At time nearly 70 million Americans were born to American citizens. All those Americans that were born during that time and are still living will be in the age group of 42 – 70.

It has been calculated that for the years 1940 -1954, 202 million Americans were born; about 77% of the Americans living today were born after 1936. During the baby boomer years of 1946 – 1964 about 75.8 million American were born. The ratio of male and female in this was relatively constant. The biggest year of boomers was 1957 when 4.3 million boomers were born. In between the span of 5 years that is 1956 – 1960 21.2 million of boomers were born, the largest of any 5- year period in 20th centaury.
