One should include two portions of oily fish each week. One can choose from the fresh or the canned ones but try to avoid the smoked or canned ones as they are too much on salt.

There are certain fishes which one should not have if they are pregnant or breast feeding they are: sword fish, marlin and shark. Raw shellfish should also be avoided during pregnancy as that might lead to food poisoning. That definitely will be unpleasant when you are pregnant.
