In an interesting survey done in London, which was commissioned by Charlotte Newbert (founder of the Nephria brand that is into beauty products) it has been found out that women spend more than three years of their lives on getting ready to leave for workplace and other outings.
Women spend an hour and a half for parties they have to attend. This happens because of the last minute changes they do– glancing at the mirror, picking the perfect handbag, matching the right pair of shoes and changing into another outfit just when it is time to go out.
The survey says a woman takes about 22 minutes for a shower which also includes shaving their legs. Seven more minutes is required to apply moisturisers or tanning. 23 minutes are devoted to style hair and 14 minutes for making up. So, only about 6 minutes are left for putting on a dress.
When they head for workplace women take averagely 40 minutes, if the amount of time women preen is also added to it takes the total time to two years plus nine months, which obviously is quite a lot.
Comparison With Men
It is obvious that now we all want to know whether it is the same with men also. Well, men have been found to spend 3 months of their entire lives waiting for ladies. They also have to wait when their lady tries out another pair of shoes or try to shop for a handbag.
70% of the men find that it is severely annoying and 10% of them even broke their relationship for this reason.
