The global meltdown has created fears in many but it is not a time to lose all hopes and not make an effort to live well. Here are some simple ways that can help you save some money.
Simple Ways To Survive The Slump
Follow these simple ways and end up saving a fortune:
- Put Down In Paper: Start to write down all your expenditure in a book. This will help you find out where you are spending the most. Next month onwards make sure you have detected your biggest expenditure and plan out ways to reduce it. Like if you find you are spending a lot of money on petrol switch to CNG.
- Stop Using Credit Cards: The concept of credit cards is that even if you don’t have money you can still have the thing you desire for. However, we tend to forget that we have to give the credit amount. If we can’t do that in a month’s time then there is interest attached to it. So, it is better to forget about this card.
- Debit Cards Are Good: If you don’t have money in your account then you can’t buy a thing. When money is directly taken out of your account you feel the pinch and hence take measures to stop that from happening which in turn means you end up saving.
- Changing Jobs Isn’t A Bright Idea: No matter how much you dislike your current office. Changing job at this time could be a disastrous decision. If you are a new recruit it is you who comes first in list when pink slips are handed.
Being panicky is not the way. Think of more practical plans to save; and share it with us.
