One is always curious to know who some of the richest women are. After all beauty, brains and wealth among women is much sought after. Women Billionaires to be Admired
- 24 year old Hind Hariri, who is considered to be the most eligible bachelorettes, although rumors indicate that she is engaged. She is the daughter of Rafik Al-Hariri, who graduated from Lebanese American University in Beirut.
- Yang Huiyan,26,a native of China has 58% stake in her father’s real estate development company known as Country Garden
- Daughters of media baron Aydin Dogan. The youngest daughter of the Dogans, Begumhan Dogan Farayali, 31 is a graduate of Standford University and worked as a consultant at Arthur Anderson and is the president of Dogan Holding. Her sister Hanzade Dogan Boyner, 36, is deputy chair of Dogan Gazetecilik, which is a media company that has four Turkish newspapers under its purview. Another sister, second among the sisters, Vuslat Dogan Sabanci held editorial posts with New York Times and Wall Street Journal. She is married into a billionaire family. The eldest among the sisters, Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag, who is in her forties is heading an influential Turkish business lobby.
- Chu Lam Yiu, 38, happens to be a self-made woman billionaire from Hong Kong, who is heading Huabao International, which produces flavorings and fragrances for cigarettes, beverages, detergents, cosmetics, and dairy products.
- Zhang Xin,43, a Chinese billionaire initially worked in a factory stitching apparel at the age of 14. She subsequently got her masters at Cambridge University. She, along with her husband are running a successful property developing company.
These women billionaires are contributing significantly in their respective arena of work. Being well-qualified they are shouldering the business responsibility well. There are many more empowered faced with similar challenges.
