Women are successful as leaders. They have proved their worth vis-à-vis men. They have entered into areas, which are traditionally considered to be male domain. They are in no way inferior to men in leading the path. Well- versed in the intricacies of leadership, they are working as managers and senior executives. Politics is also another field they have shown their leadership abilities. Women have become successful presidents and prime ministers and led men on various issues concerning society. What are the qualities that make them successful as leaders?

Role of Woman As Successful Women Leader

Women are more flexible. They are empathetic and can understand better another person’s viewpoint
Better interpersonal skills
More persuasive
Team building abilities
Decisive. They are firm in their convictions and stand by their beliefs
Successful women, particularly in business and politics, have taken risks
Being warm is an advantage to them
Women have proved that they are competent enough to shoulder responsibilities
Only personal issues, such as family responsibilities, deter them from shouldering greater responsibilities
Assertion of women rights has been a major issue
Organization leadership qualities in women are high enough for them to manage a given situation well
They can communicate well and are also into cooperative decision-making
Women learn from adversity
They are persistent

Women do possess several qualities that help them to be successful leaders. They have also surpassed men in many ways on account of these qualities. They are determined, hardworking and sincere. They have many odds to face, both at home front as well as workplace. Yet, they have successfully carved a niche for themselves.
