Indians Among Oldest In The World To Lose Virginity

According to a latest report Indians are the oldest in the world to lose virginity. In fact, Asians are the oldest to lose virginity.

The report stated that the Austrians lose their virginity at an early age of 17.3 years. Following them are the Americans who lose their virginity at 18 years.

The report showed that Asians lose their virginity at an older age. While the people of China lose their virginity at an average age of 22.1 years, the Malaysians lose it at 23 years. For the Indians the average age is 22.9 years.

The above statistics were the findings of a study conducted worldwide on sexual behavior and contraceptive use. The study was called the 2007 Face of Global Sex Report.

The study covered 26, 000 people from 26 countries for the interview. The results of the survey showed that around 32 per cent of men and half of all women regretted or did not have happy memories of their first sex activity.

The survey also revealed that teenagers are using contraception even during their first intercourse because they have become aware about possible upshots of unsafe sex.

Findings of the Study

    Australia (17.9)

    America (18.0)

  5. The average age for having sex was 19.25 years.
  6. People who were most ready for first sexual encounter were from Malaysia, Netherlands, Greece, America and Australia.
  7. People from Japan, Nigeria, Thailand and Hong Kong were the least ready for sex.
