Women love to pamper their bodies. When it comes to the face, the attention and care is the most. But not all women can afford to shell out a fortune regularly at beauty parlours. There are simple tips to do at home which could work wonders on your face. Here are some great ideas for a refreshing home-made face pack:
For ordinary skin
- Use a beaten egg white and mixed with 2 tsp almond oil. Smooth over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on 15 minutes, then remove gently with water.
- Apply dried neem leaves lemon and dried grounded orange peels and dried pomegranate peels on ur face to get a glowing look.
- Take one tablespoon of cornflakes with almond oil or milk and grind into a paste. Apply this paste to face. Wash off after 15 minutes.
For dry skin
- Take ashwagandha, rose powder and ground almonds in equal measure and mix with almond or til oil. Then a paste should be formed by adding the reqired quantity of milk or water. Apply evenly on face and neck and wash off when it dries.
- Mix 1 tsp. of butter and 1 tsp of water. Apply over the dry parts of skin. Leave for 15 – 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
For oily skin
For those of you who have oily skin, you can make a homemade face pack made out of apples and honey. Make a paste of one table spoon of honey with two peeled apples. The paste should be applied and washed after 20 minutes. Also try making a paste of a fully ripe tomato. These homemade face packs can give you a glowing look in a matter of minutes.
For blemished skin
- Mix equal amounts of triphala, sandalwood and crushed neem. Add rose water and apply on face.
- Mix rakta chandana (red sandalwood), multani and haldi and make a paste with milk, water or rose water. Apply on face and wash off after 20 minutes.
