Inviting friends and relatives to a Christmas party can be an ultimate reunion for close knit families and also for those who have become distant over the ages. Some parents expect their little ones to write on these invitation cards and letters to friends and relatives because they still seem to possess the seeds of innocence in them and express everything in a simple, warm and loving way.
Tips to help your child write Christmas notes:
- Seat you child comfortably on a chair and start by helping him or her to address the letter. For example, ‘Dear Grandmother’, etc.
- Give your child the freedom to write in his or her own words and thoughts but with the due instruction that the letter should be written in a way to thank grandma, aunt or uncle for having sent the wonderful gifts and thereby inviting them over for Christmas this year, etc.
- Make your kid write short sentences, maybe just one or two and also guide them to mentioning about how much she or he liked the toys or gifts.
- Help your kid end the letter properly with appreciative and thankful words and of course with his or her due signature.
- Seal the letter with a photograph of your kid and a gift to reflect warmth and love for your near and dear ones.
Kids feel very important and elated when they are given things to do which elders have been doing all the while. So give them the joy and responsibility to write Christmas notes this year.
