Emotional Conflicts and Menopause

Menopause and emotional stress go hand in hand with women. While menopause can be defined as a phase of the termination of menstruation as a result of the normal decline in ovarian function, emotional strain comes with the package.

Experts claim that normal menopause occurs at the age of 45 and 55 but in some cases it can occur as early as the 30’s and as late as the 60’s. This condition of women has become highly medicalized in the sense that it requires intervention and examination for further complications and/or treatment and cannot be anymore treated as just a phase that one needs to be accustomed to.

The different kinds of emotional bouts that women tend to suffer at this stage include the following:

Women at this stage are generally frustrated and unhappy about an unnatural way of life and transformations that are happening in and around their own bodies. With a changing body odor and with a degenerating exterior makes life dismal. Experts recommend medical assistance and counseling for women undergoing the atrocities of menopausal conditions.
